Join the Offroad Adventures team while we hit the road for an epic road trip to travel around South Africa and help underprivileged children, wildlife and domestic animals while we have the adventure of a lifetime!
Explore the east coast of Africa, along unspoilt beaches and sunsets with the backdrop of wild Africa and hippos.
Our projects range from helping primary schools and orphanages, hospitals, high schools, wildlife rehabilitation centres and domestic animal rescues.
Government run institutions in South Africa are not very well maintained and most times need all the help they can get in the way of not only donations but hands on help every day to help children with school work and homework as well as general maintenance that they most times just don’t have the finance to repair.
Social – High School maintenance, crèche assistance and feed the babies social project.
In order to join the program you need to be at least 18 years old on the program start date.
No restrictions. Helping hands from all over the world are welcome.

The rest of your time will be spent exploring Sodwana Bay and Durban
All accommodation provided in shared backpacker style lodges.
Sodwana Bay – At our 3* lodge situated in the pine plantations on the outskirts of Sodwana Bay with WIFI, swimming pool, cash bar, restaurant and lounge with television. Fully catered for breakfast and dinner every day. Here you will have bonfire nights with local entertainment and endless afternoons of fun and beach walks.
Durban – We will be based at Aweh Backpackers in the ever popular Durban North. With their themed dorm style accommodation you could be sleeping under a waterfall or in a Forrest! Fully catered for breakfast and dinner here your days will be filled with the sound of babies laughing and the never ending nightlife of one of Africa’s most vibrant and multi-cultural cities.
